The Date

It's best to know roughly when you are going to have this wedding from the time you announce it to your family and friends! This gives you and your family time to prepare for the big day and leave plenty of room for changes and alterations to your ideas. Pull out your and your other half's work Calender and set a date that works for the both of you, once you have figures that out it is best to start looking for the venue of your wedding. The wedding industry is always busy and venues will be booked weeks, months or even years in advance. It is important that you give yourself enough time to find the perfect venue and book it.

You need to leave yourself enough time to book all the unnecessary components to your wedding, from catering and booking the hall to having your bridal gown made. Knowing what season you may have your wedding can help you figure out what provisions you may need to take to ensure you make the most of the weather, this ranges from what type of make-up you will wear to the way you will travel to your destination. The worst thing that can happen is getting rained on in Autumn on route to your wedding in a horse and carriage! Working within a time-frame is difficult, however as long as you have your to-do-lists you can steadily work your way through this and make sure everything is booked and ready well ahead of time. Enjoy!
